Let me explain myself
After much feet dragging I have finally decided to take the plunge and start a substack. I probably would have never taken this step if it wasn’t for my followers on Twitter continually asking why I don’t have one.
I’ve managed to create many threads on Twitter that have been quite popular and I wanted to give them a place where they can be standalone articles so that my readers can have easy access to the information contained within. Once I get my threads converted to this space, I plan on publishing exclusive content, investigations and musings on the state of our world.
Community is the key
One thing that Twitter has shown me recently is that I am not alone in my worldview. Many people have reached out to thank me for my threads and just to let me know they are on the same page. This has motivated me to continue with my research and writing and I am blown away by the words of support and personal stories I have received.
More than anything I want this substack to be a place where I can connect even more with my readers and build a true online community of like-minded people to show that we are not alone in this crazy world. It’s ok to express ourselves any way we would like to, without fear of social ostracism or being cancelled. So many of us have self censored in the past because of these concerns, myself included. Well, not anymore, now more than ever we need people and communities that are free from the confines of conventional wisdom. I don’t want this to be a one sided conversation, I want to hear what you think and read what you’ve researched. We are the free, if we allow ourselves to be.
What to expect if you subscribe
First, let me say, that I am not in this for money. Sure it’s nice to be compensated for the hours of research, writing and editing it takes to publish a thread or an article but I am in this for connection. More than anything I want to build something good, that helps people understand that much of what they have been told in their lives by the institutions around them, is mostly lies and manipulation of the truth.
If you become a paying subscriber, you will have access to all of the thread archives, exclusive content, and a direct line to me. I want to get to know you and where you are coming from. I don’t see this as a one sided affair, I want this to be a collaboration in seeking truth and the connection that binds all of us as human beings. As this space matures I will come up with other features and benefits for paid subscribers that hopefully will make spending your hard earned money worthwhile, things like podcasts, audio versions of posts, community chats, book clubs and more. If you just want to subscribe to the free version, I totally get it and welcome you just the same. Either way, welcome to We The Free, I hope we can build something special and carve a place for the sane in a world that has lost its mind.
